Transport Equipments Manufacturing and Trading Company was established in 1974 in Istanbul. Since 2000, TTI is located in modern production facilities in Gebze Orginized Industrial Zone. Co-founders always considered the ship manufacturing industry as the locomotive of Turkish Industry and directed their investments in this area.

TTI, not only designs and manufactures portal cranes for new ship building, JIB cranes for equipping ships, specialized overhead cranes for workshops, but also prepares complete projects for shipyards. All of the designs and products are certified by certification agencies including Turkish Loyd, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas and Istanbul Technical University. In 2004, PAK R&D is established to increase the national and international competeting power and market share of TTI. PAK R&D continues its operations in the TUBITAK MAM Technopark.
